affordable clothing for the whole family and baby furniture to a community
in need. The goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people
even as their physical needs are being met.
- Great Commandments Ministries
Abroad: A mission field in lasi, Romania which includes: A
Christian kindergarten (Paideusis) and a Church plant. (Eclesia) The
Christian kindergarten began in March 1992 as a ministry to poor
children ages 3-7. Current enrollment is 70. The school strives to share
the love & attributes of Jesus Christ in every subject and activity.
We believe this school has been fruitful in introducing the children and
their parent to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church plant began as a
ministry to college students in June of 1993. By 1996 the Eclesia Church
was established. Today approximately 200 students and young families
attend. The (Eclesia) vision statement is "A New Generation Shining
For Christ". The primary focus remains student ministry through
on-campus evangelism and one-on-one small group discipleship.
