The City of Battle Ground
The City of Battle Ground with its’ Mayor and Boards and
Commissions is where Government decisions are made concerning legal issues and
growth plans.
This includes Fire, Police and Municipal Court. Services provided
by the City of Battle Ground include Animal Control, Code Enforcement, Fire,
Municipal Court, Parks, Planning, Police and Street Maintenance.
The City of Battle Ground also provides utilities, including water, sewer &
storm drainage.

Battle Ground adopted the council-manager plan in 1997. Under this form of
government the elected officials are the community leaders and policy makers who
establish a vision for the city and appoint a city manager to carry out policy
and ensure that all residents are being equitably served. The manager
coordinates the work of department heads and other employees.
