GFWC, General Federation of Women’s ClubsGFWC is one of the world’s oldest and largest women’s service organizations dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service. The object of GFWC is to serve, improve, and enhance communities as well as enrich members’ lives. Meetings are twice a month usually on the second and fourth Thursday at 7:00
PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 14208 NE 249th Street, Battle Ground,
WA 98604. As a member, you are expected to attend as many meetings as possible and participate in major projects. These major projects include the Ladybug Bazaar and Battle Ground High School Mother / Daughter tea. The diverse membership of approximately 35 women, includes women who work away from home and in the home, retired women, young mothers, grandmothers, married and single women. Members enjoy a 1/4 hour refreshment time before business meetings. There is no defined geographic area for membership. Most live in or around Battle Ground.
