The POMEROY LIVING HISTORY FARM depicts 1920's farm life in this beautiful valley. It has been owned by the same family since 1910 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Activities for this historical farm center around the 2 story, 6 bedroom log house that is complete with its original furnishings.

The farm's blacksmith shop has been restored and is fully operational. The large and uniquely constructed barn is used for housing livestock and for group activities.

Special seasonal activities include the Spring Herb Festival, Pumpkin Festival and Winter Christmas Festivities.

The farm is open to the public on the first full weekend of each month, June through October. An extensive educational program depicting farm life in the early century has been developed for use with schools. Pre- and post-visit curriculum has been developed for use in conjunction with farm visits. A school tree farm program is also available.

The Annual Pumpkin Festival, is one of our annual fundraisers benefiting our school programs. There will be hayrides available to the pumpkin patch to select your pumpkin and then on down pumpkin lane to see the "Pumpkin People".

All donations in the Carriage House Tea Room help support the
POMEROY LIVING HISTORY FARM, a non-profit public benefit museum.
